The day started off with Jackie
making waffles for breakfast. After breakfast we drove out to Caesar’s
Head to do a four and a half mile hike through the South Carolina
mountains. We walked down to get a view of a waterfall before turning
back.
Back at the Bairds, Drew fired up
the barbeque, after a quick nanna nap, and cooked up a storm for dinner.

It wasn’t until after dinner that
we packed up the car and drove up to Charlotte. We arrived at Amy’s Mum’s
place and settled in briefly. I had the feeling that I was driving into
the Gone with the Wind set when we arrived at Amy’s childhood home. After
spending some time with Mrs. Lau, Amy took me out to her local, Sundries, where
we met up with her friends Kelly, Shelly, Elizabeth & Melissa, and drank
until 2am.
