What I remember (in 2024)...

Went with Roberta.  This was unplanned.  We didn't now about this concert before we left home.  The Dirty Three were also playing that night, but we were able to get into this show.

Another silverchair show in a small venue.  Just as packed as the Zoo, but the crowd was less crazy,

What I remember (in 2024)...

Took a Mystery Flight with Ansett to Melbourne with Roberta.

Stayed at the Hyatt on Collins, as did players from the Australian Open golf.  We rode an elevator with John Daley.  Janet Jackson was also staying in the hotel, as witness by the hundreds of fans outside.

Flew home  on Sunday 19 February 1995.

What I remember (in 2024)...

Went on my own.  4th night in a row of concerts.

Spiderbait were a mismatch for an opening band for Ministry.

Ministry was super loud in this small space.  Probably the start of tinnitus for me.

Big Day Out @ Sydney Showgrounds

What I remember (in 2024)...

Went with Roberta.

silverchair played a side stage and the area was swarmed.  They had had a meteoric rise in the last 6 months and everyone wanted to see them.  It was dangerous.  We went inside a building and watched from the side, the crowd outside was overwhelming.  It was the first time I'd felt uncomfortable in a crowd.

The Cult and Ministry to finish off the night were incredible.

What I remember (in 2024)...

Went to the show with Roberta.

Frenzal Rhomb played a version of The Home & Away theme.  People were really into it, then tried to act cool when they realized what the song was.

The Offspring were one of the best shows I've seen.  The crowd was wild, all over the joint.  People were stage diving off the bar at the back of the venue.
