Just as funny the 2nd time.  THis may have been the time that A & I were almost on the floor laughing, but the young couple sitting next to us was having none of it.  They left before the show was half over, without so much as cracking a smile.

What I remember (in 2024) 

On the 16th A&I flew down to Austin, TX with Creany, Katy & Reggae, all of who had been staying with us, to celebrate Saffa's 30th birthday.  We spent the weekend at his in-laws house on Lake Travis.  Just a great weekend of catching up.  Our first night was spent at Iguana Grill, a local Mexican joint overlooking the lake, for margaritas and general catch ups.  Saturday was spent out on a boat in the lake.  My first time in a freshwater lake.  Weird feeling!  Saturday night was a big night in 6th Avenue.  Pretty sure Saffa had a great time.

What I remember (in 2024)

On 27 July, A & I flew to Vancouver, as she had a work meeting there.  We stayed on a high floor at the Marriott downtown.  We flew back on the 31st.

We went to Capilano Bridge on the Saturday, and the Cleveland Dam, on the north side of Vancouver.  Sunday we saw the Creans.  While the girls went out, Creany and I went and saw the Simpsons Movie.

On the Monday, we rented bikes and rode around the massive Stanley Park.

Snow Patrol & Hot Hot Heat @ The Pearl

What I remember (in 2024)

Went with A, as she chose this concert.  We had general admission down the front.

Hot Hot Heat were great again

While a lot mellower than what I normally listen to, Snow Patrol put on a good show.

Went as part of SNHCA invite.

O is the flagship Cirque show in Vegas.  It is a great show, but Love is still the best.

Went with Dave.

Poster says University Theater, but show was moved to Jillian's at the last minute.

JIllian's looks like it could be a video arcade, and BRMC did not look impressed by the venue, but still put on a dynamic show.

Impressed by this brand new mid size venue.  We were standing on the floor, really close to the stage.

Bloc Party were amazing as usual.

Comp tickets from the Wynn.

Based on Monty Python's The Holy Grail, this is the funniest thing I've seen in the theater.  It was so good.

Went with Dave.

Tickets were free after Dave bought a case of Bud Light (like he wasn't going to do that).

Last Resort was the only song I knew, but remember it being a good show.

What I remember (in 2024)

Drove down to San Diego on 9 November and stayed at the Loews Coronado.

Had lunch on the first day with Chris, Casi & Baden.

Spent Saturday mostly in Balboa Park and happened upon a Annie Liebowitz exhibition at the San Diego Museum of Art.

Dinner on Saturday was at the nearby Coronado Boathouse 1887.
