Went with A, who was not impressed.

I thought it was great.  Another band who I never thought I'd see again (after Livid 97).  Devo are still ahead of their time, when will we catch up.

What I remember (in 2024)

Went with A, & Mike & Ryan from the Hyatt.

They are just not for me.  I should have remembered that from 94 show.  I was bored until the last song, Sabotage.  It was excellent, but could not slavage the rest of the show.  Even A, the Beastie Boys fan, was disappointed.

Went on my own.

Better attended show than the last one at the Joint.  New album, Meds, to promote, so heavy in the setlist.  Surprised they didn't play Pure Morning and/or Nancy Boy.  Good show.

What I remember (in 2024)

Went with A.

Comp tickets from the Wynn.

New show at the newly opened Wynn Hotel & Casino.  A Cirque-like show based in the water, and seating in the round (so not a bad seat in the whole theater).  Great show.  Great hotel.

San Francisco Giants vs Colorado Rockies @ AT&T Park

What I remember (in 2024)

On August 3, Trish, A & I flew to San Francisco and spent 3 (free) nights at the Hyatt at Union Square (work perks).  We did a trip out to Alcatraz and went to a Giants Game.  The Giants play at AT&T Stadium, right in downtown San Fran, on the bay.  The stadium was built with Barry Bonds in mind.  The left hander, with all his power can hit the ball out of the stadium and into the bay, where people will wait in boats and kayaks to collect the souvenir.  He did it at our game, but it was a foul ball.

Colorado 2 (Matt Halliday, Choo Freeman home runs) defeated San Francisco 1 (Omar Vizguel home run) in 11 innings.

Crowd: 39,014

What I remember (in 2024)

Went on my own.

Riverboat Gamblers were great.

Rollins Band original line up.  On stage at 7pm.  Henry told the crowd "I put the pink in punctual!".  They were magnificent.  Played a lot of songs from End Of Silence and Weight.

X didn't do much for me.

Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular @ Venetian Hotel

What I remember (in 2024)

Went with A.

Comp ticket through SNHCA.

Absolute snorefest.  I had seen Phantom twice in Sydney, and really enjoyed it.  This was just terrible.  Probably would have walked out had we had the opportunity.  I can't believe it lasted 6 years.

This was awesome.  Easily the best show I've ever seen, therefore the best Cirque show in Vegas.  How they have interpreted The Beatles music is just beautiful.  I will go on to recommend this show to anyone that will listen for the next 7 years.
