Another Hey Hey It's Saturday alumni.

Comped from work.

Funny magic show, where some of the myths are explained.  You were allowed on stage before to look through the equipment.  A jazz band played on stage.  Penn was playing double bass.

BOth Penn & Teller hung out after the show meeting the audience.

Rita Rudner appeared regularly on Hey Hey It's Saturday in Australia, so I was familiar with her.

She was funny, and put on a very wholesome show that had the crowd in stitches.

G. Love & Special Sauce was the opener.  He was the main reason A wanted to go.  She had been away for work, and flew in that night.  I picked her up at the airport and we went to The Joint (which we lived right behind) and walked in the door to see G. Love say "Thank you, goodnight).

Outside, by the pool at The Palms in the summer.  Perfect spot for a concert.  Typical fun Violent Femmes show.

Was excited to see Blur, after the great show they did years ago at the Hordern.  This couldn't be more different.  Band looked like they could care less and went through the motions.  Poor performance for a first show in Vegas.
