Alice In Chains, Suicidal Tendencies & Poor Boys @ Hordern Pavilion

Alice in Chains Setlist Hordern Pavilion, Sydney, Australia, Asia/Australia Tour 1993

What I remember (in 2024)...
Caught the train down from the coast with Marieka.
Suicidals were blisteringly fast.
Alice In Chains started the show behind a white curtain, that had rope behind it.  Lighting would shine behind individual band members playing, while Layne climbed around the ropes.  When Nutshell finished, the first drum beat of It Ain't Like That saw the curtain fall.
At some point someone was spitting on Layne.  He asked the crowd to stop.  A 2nd time he stopped a song and threatened to beat the person up if he caught them.  The very next song, he dove into the crowd and started beating on someone.  That person was probably saved by security getting rid of them pretty quick.  After the song finished, Staley questions why you'd pay $40 to spit on someone, continue to do it when you were asked to stop, and then get shitty when you got called out and beaten up.
I bought a t-shirt that had the cover of Dirt on the front and dates on the back.  I don't remember when I stopped having it.
Running for what we thought was our train, we jumped on one as it was leaving.  It was not ours, and heading down the Wollongong line.  We had to get off, get back to Central and finally get the right train home.
