What I remember (in 2024)...

Drove to Sydney with Dad to see the game.

This was a semi final match.

We sat up really high in the stadium.

Gary Coyne is the most unlikely 4 tries in a game ever.

What I remember (in 2024)...

Really liked that Swirl had a real swirling sound.

Ratcat were the biggest thing around at the time.

Not sure who I went with, but there were tons of people from high school there.

Was right at the front for the whole show.

Nick Barker came and took my beer and sculled what was left, and came back later with a full beer for me

1st concert in a pub after turning 18.

Bought a pink tye-dye long sleeve Hoodoo Gurus shirt.

Def Fx @ Bar On The Hill

What I remember (in 2024)...

Not many people in the audience and people were stand-offish.

Uni Bar was doing $2 Tooheys Reds.

Was with a guy from Terrigal who was doing the same course.

I was taken aback by this wildly dancing, Kylie Minogue-looking, Jane's Addiction t-shirt wearing lead singer playing heavy dance music (Fiona Horne).

Def Fx had so few songs they had to play a few twice in order to fill in their time allocation.
